In June 2003, BITE Dental (Thailand) Company Limited was established by BITE Europe in accordance with Thai partners, each of them disposing of specific experience on production, logistics and project management.
This explains the success of BITE Thailand, which core activity is manufacturing BITE products. The technical management of the production facility in Bangkok is in the hands of Mr. Frans Smithuis, a renowned Dutch dental technician with 40 years of experience. He is assisted by qualified Thai technicians, who have got a through training in the Netherlands. In January 2004, BITE Thailand has started its own production line in brand-new and modern premises.
In Bangkok, every technician gets an intensive 6 months training on the production process of dental crowns, bridges and frames. BITE has created its own training manuals which have been translated into Thai.
